Our History

Sertus began in the early 1990s when a group of expatriates in China helped develop and launch the innovative “Mr. 7 Hands” screwdriver, securing retail presence in top U.S. chains. As demand grew, we expanded from hand tools into other hardgoods categories. A major milestone came in 2001 when Target selected us to design and manage its DURABUILT hand tool program. Investments in packaging, R&D, and quality control strengthened our private label expertise, enabling us to support retailers and wholesalers worldwide. By 2004, we established a sales and marketing hub in Miami, expanding our reach across the Americas and Europe. Today, Sertus continues to grow, delivering tailored solutions across diverse industries.
